[Fox Channel 9 Appearance] May 16th: Jack Talks Criminal Law, Trayvon Martin and Forensics

I appear on Fox 9 here in the Twin Cities on May 16th.  A new forensics report came out on George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin shooting case out of Florida and things may not be looking too good for the prosecution.  It appears that Zimmerman had two substantial gashes on the back of his head as well as two black eyes, and a broken nose.  In addition, Trayvon had scrapes on his knuckles that may be consistent with striking Zimmerman.  This could be huge in the self-defense claim Zimmerman is makeing.  I will appear on Fox 9 to talk about criminal defense, self-defense and how it may work in this case.

I appear on MSNBC on Saturnday May 11th.  This should be an interesting conversation in that is combines both success and failure. It is extraordinary when the Agency can possibly place an asset in the midst of Al Qaida.  At the same time, it is a failure when everybody knows about it.  This story cuts a lot of different directions and I expect this interview cold go a lot of ways.

[AM 950 Appearance] May 8th: Jack Talks Law and Politics

I am guest-hosting the morning show from 6-8 a.m. on May 8th.  This should be fun because morning shows are much different than hosting at other times of the day.  The clock is much different and the timing changes how you approach stories.  The MN House just passed a Vikiings stadium bill and Rick Santorum now likes Mitt Romney.  I will be covering that and a bunch of other stories.

I appear on MSNBC with Alex Witt on May 6th at Noon e.t.  With the recent release of the bin Laden tapes, we are getting an amazing look at this man and he is exactly that, a man.  Unfortunately, we seem to have mythologized him in a way that may have been counterproductive.  This will be an interesting conversation as I will also look at the question of the prosecution of the likes of KSM as well.
